In the far north of Oman the mountains of Musandam plunge down to the sea creating a sheer wall of mountain backdrop to mirror like inlets from the sea. South of Muscat in the central region the Wahaiba Sand Desert cascades into to the sea while stretched along Omans length are kilometers after kilometer of empty sandy beach.

Musandam has dramatic Fjords and isolated villages set on the tiny silver of flat land that sits between mountain and sea.
